Public Shop Page

A public page under your shop's own address that shows the phones, accessories and parts you choose to list — built from the same stock the till reads, so it can never advertise something you have already sold.

Your catalog is the listing

There is no second catalog to maintain. A listing is a product already in your Horus Repair catalog, with its live stock attached, so the page and the till are reading the same number at the same moment.

That single fact is what separates this from posting stock to a classifieds site or a social page. Nothing has to be taken down, marked sold, or apologised for — the shelf is the source of truth:

  • Sell a phone over the counter and it leaves the page on the next load — nobody has to remember to remove it
  • Restock an accessory and it comes back on its own
  • The last unit of anything is labelled as the last unit, because that is the one fact a buyer acts on
  • Cancelled or unlisted items simply stop being published; nothing is deleted
Every listing a customer can see is a thing you can actually hand them today. A shop page that wastes a customer's trip costs more than no shop page.

What a visitor sees — and what they never do

The page carries the shop's own logo, name, colours, branch address, opening hours and phone, with WhatsApp and call buttons that open a message already naming the item. It is the shop's window, not ours.

What it deliberately does not carry matters just as much:

  • Never a stock count — only 'in stock' or 'last one'. How deep you are on a line is your business and your competitor's homework
  • Never a cost, a margin, a customer name, or anything from the ledger
  • Never an IMEI or a serial number, on any listing
  • A price only if you want one: any item can be published as 'call for price' instead

A link you can send, and a page search engines can read

The address is a plain one — marketplace.horusrepair.com followed by your shop's name — so it can go in a WhatsApp status, an Instagram bio, or a printed sign at the counter. Every item also has its own address, so a customer asking about one phone gets a link to that phone rather than a screenshot.

The page is built to be indexed: Arabic and English versions of every page, structured data for the shop and each item, a sitemap, and no JavaScript required to search or filter. A shop with nothing listed yet is deliberately left out of search results rather than published as an empty window.

This is not a directory that ranks shops against each other. There is no 'find a repair shop near you' page, and no cross-shop search. Each shop has its own page and keeps its own customers.

Off by default, and always the owner's call

The page does not exist until the owner switches it on, and no product appears on it until the owner lists that product. Nothing is published as a side effect of an upgrade.

  • Owner-only: publishing stock to the open web is the same class of decision as the shop's logo and its prices
  • Available on Pro and above; a shop on Starter can see the screen and what it does, and a trial can prepare listings before they go live
  • Switching the page off leaves your listings intact for when you switch it back on
  • Photos are yours to add — up to four per item, PNG, JPG or WebP

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to enter my products a second time to sell them online?
No. The page lists products that are already in your Horus Repair catalog. Listing one is a switch on the product you already have, plus photos if you want them — there is no separate online catalog to keep in step.
What happens when an item sells?
It disappears from the page by itself. Stock is read live from the same ledger the till writes to, so selling the last unit over the counter removes the listing without anyone touching it. If someone opens a link to an item that has just sold, the page says sold out rather than showing a broken link.
Will customers see how much stock I have?
No. A listing shows 'in stock' or 'last one', never a number. The exception is deliberate: knowing an item is the last one is what makes a customer come today, while a count tells the shop across the street exactly how deep you are on that line.
Can I hide the price on some items?
Yes, per item. A listing published without a price shows 'call for price' instead, which is what most shops want for used handsets they expect to negotiate on.
Is my shop listed in a public directory of repair shops?
No. Each shop has its own page at its own address, and there is no cross-shop search or ranking. Horus Repair is not competing with its own customers for the customer relationship, so there is no 'find a shop near you' page to put you next to the shop down the road.
Can customers pay or order through the page?
Not today. The page gets the customer to the shop with WhatsApp and call buttons that already name the item they are asking about. Taking payment between a stranger and a shop is a regulated activity, and building it badly would be worse than not building it.

Related features

  • Point of Sale & Cash Drawer

Horus Repair sells parts and accessories over the counter and closes the till at the end of the day — with a business day that can legally end at 2am, which is when a lot of repair shops actually stop. Retail selling is on Pro and above; the drawer and the close-out are on every plan.

  • Inventory & Parts

Two inventory systems, deliberately: a full stock model for shops that carry parts, and an on-demand mode for the many shops that buy the screen only after the customer approves the quote.

  • Customer Updates & Job Tracking

The sharpest promise this product makes is that the phone stops ringing — customers get told when something changes, and can check the job themselves without calling.
