Repair shop software features
Everything needed to run the shop — and a plain list of what is not here yet.
Repair Ticket Management
A repair ticket in Horus Repair carries the customer, the device, every reported fault, the agreed price and the promised date — and records every change to it in a timeline nobody can edit after the fact.
Read more →Point of Sale & Cash Drawer
Horus Repair sells parts and accessories over the counter and closes the till at the end of the day — with a business day that can legally end at 2am, which is when a lot of repair shops actually stop.
Read more →Inventory & Parts
Two inventory systems, deliberately: a full stock model for shops that carry parts, and an on-demand mode for the many shops that buy the screen only after the customer approves the quote.
Read more →Multi-Branch Management
Each branch keeps its own stock, its own till and its own staff, while the owner sees the whole business — and a branch manager sees only the branch they run.
Read more →Customer Updates & Job Tracking
The sharpest promise this product makes is that the phone stops ringing — customers get told when something changes, and can check the job themselves without calling.
Read more →Staff Notifications & Daily Alerts
Two kinds of alert: something just happened, and something should have happened by now but did not. The second kind is the one that catches problems.
Read more →Reports & Exports
Reports read from the ledger the drawer is closed against, so the report and the till tell the same story — and anything on screen can be exported.
Read more →Technicians, Attendance & Payroll
Commission is calculated on money actually collected, not money invoiced — a small schema decision with large consequences for whether technicians believe the number.

Worth knowing before you migrate rather than after:
- No public REST API or webhooks — data moves via CSV export
- No built-in accounting or payment-processor integrations
- No native mobile app — it is a web app, installable to the home screen
- Customer updates go over WhatsApp; there is no SMS gateway
- Operates in Egyptian pounds; it is not a multi-currency system
- Parts are consumed, not reserved — committing a part does not hold it against another job
Common questions
- What does Horus Repair do?
- Horus Repair is repair shop management software covering the whole operating loop: booking repair jobs in at the counter, tracking them to handover, selling parts and accessories through a retail point of sale, running a cash drawer and daily close-out, managing parts, keeping technician attendance and payroll, and keeping customers informed over WhatsApp. It is Arabic-first with full English support, priced and calculated in Egyptian pounds, and works on the Africa/Cairo business day.
- Does Horus Repair work for shops that hold no parts in stock?
- Yes. On-demand parts mode records a part against a job at the cost actually paid, with no stock record required, and remembers the last price paid so it prefills next time. This suits the common pattern of ordering the part from a wholesaler only after the customer approves the quote.
- Is Horus Repair available in Arabic?
- Arabic is the default. The interface is right-to-left by default and written in Egyptian dialect rather than Modern Standard Arabic, with English available at full parity. This is not a translation layer over an English product — the layout, the business day, the currency and the operating-hours model were all built around Egyptian shops first.
- Does Horus Repair have an API or integrations?
- Not currently. There is no public REST API, no webhooks, and no built-in accounting or payment-processor integrations. Data comes out through CSV exports covering jobs, sales, customers, finance and reports.
