Documentation
Setting the shop up, running it day to day, and getting your data back out.
Getting started
Set the shop up and get the first jobs through it.
- Quick start
From a new account to a first job booked in, in the order the setup actually needs to happen.
- Shop settings and operating model
Horus Repair carries more than twenty operating-model switches, so one codebase fits a one-person kiosk and a four-branch chain without either being forced into the other's workflow.
- Roles and permissions
Four roles. Money is manager and above, frontline roles are lateral rather than ranked, and user management is owner-only.
Daily operations
The loop staff run every day, from opening till to close-out.
- The daily loop
Open the till in the morning, work jobs and sales through the day, close the till at night. Everything else hangs off those three.
- Cash drawer and close-out
One drawer session per branch per business day, with a business day you define — including one that ends after midnight.
Customers
Keeping customers informed without answering the phone.
- Customer updates over WhatsApp
Horus Repair drafts the WhatsApp message on every status change. You choose whether a human sends it or the system does.
- Staff notifications and push
The in-app bell always works. Web push needs staff to opt in, and on iPhone it needs the site installed to the home screen.
Your data
Getting figures out, and seeing who changed what.
- Exports and the audit log
Everything on screen exports to a file, and sensitive changes are recorded in a log nobody can edit.
Looking for the API?
Horus Repair does not currently offer a public REST API, webhooks, or built-in accounting and payment-processor integrations. Data movement today is through CSV export — see exports and the audit log.
